Giving Back

We feel strongly that every set of Kleynimals sold should make a positive impact in our World, starting with the manufacturing process and proceeding all the way to a happy and satisfied customer. We think social responsibility is vitally important, and thus it is our mission to give back to our community along the way, be that locally or globally. Here are some examples of how your purchase helps us make an impact:

Locally

From 2011 until COVID, we enlisted the help of truly special people at Providence, which is a local non-profit organization that supports people with developmental and intellectual disabilities. For 4 years, Kleynimals were assembled and washed by people at The Providence Center. When our manufacturing process changed (see our Made in the USA page), we continued to keep Providence involved by having Wanda and Judy come to our office to help tie tags on our reusable bags. Like everything else, COVID changed that slightly. Now, Wanda’s family brings her when it works for all of us.

Globally

We want to affect global change through the sales of Kleynimals. In this regard, it seems appropriate to donate to a non-profit that affects healthy living for our families, as well as a non-profit tied to the animals that we love. In this regard, we are proud to support Environmental Working Group and World Wildlife Fund. In fact,Kirsten now serves on the National Council for World Wildlife Fund, which makes her very proud. We also give to the National Resources Defense Council.
